The Kollywood superstar and the former actress have been staying together since 2004 and during that period Gouthami has had to battle cancer. Kamal Hassan and his daughters Shruti and Akshara (from his earlier marriage to Sarika) and Subbulakshmi (Gouthami's daughter from her earlier marriage) have lent Gouthami the much-needed moral support and together the five are a happy family.
